This is an example account.

At the end of the 12th Dec a member has 240.39 credits on their AW account balance.

On the 13th they earn 17.90 from content, 2.51 from directcam and 1.21 from Directchat (42% rate).

Their expenses for the 13th is 1 credit for Display Phone Number and 145 credits from an auction.

What is their balance at this point with Dailypay?


Then on the 14th the member earns 66.76 from content and 384.40 from directcam.

They have 6 credits expenses on the 14th, one 20 voucher, 7 credits from tips.





Work it out as normal, then work it out but dont include the auction charge.

First one to work it out correctly get £10.

If the 240.39 balance was paid out for the 13th then that would be removed from the equation as it would have been paid out.

The DailyPay balance for the 13th would be -£-79.87 to account for the auction charge, however without the auction charge, it would be £12.92.

If the auction charge is taken account, the DailyPay balance for the 14th would be £203.08. Without the auction charge it would be £295.88.

I work it out as: content, phone/expenses, tips, and auction have a percentage of 64% (30% AW, 6% DP), and DirectCam is 59% (30% AW, 5% JCI, 6% DP).

I got 106.93 here's how:

240.39 + (21.62-58%)
240.39 - 12.54
= 252.93

252.93 - 146 = 106.93

Crap, I read the problem on my smart phone and didn't see the part after "What is their balance at this point with Dailypay?", lol And now I'm second guessing how I read the problem anyway... ...but here goes trying:

So to continue, add the 106.93 + 66.76 + 384.40 -6 + 20 + 7 which is 579.09

If you don't include the auction charge that puts it at 724.09 ??

EDIT: I started the problem by subtracting the 58% from too large a sum, here's my final answer:

240.39 + 17.90 + (3.72-58%)
240.39 + 20.06 = 260.45 -146
So then we're at 114.45
add to that + 66.76 + 384.40 -6 + 20 + 7
= 586.61
or = 731.61 without the auction charge.

It didn't seem to me that we were being asked to calculate any other percentages, but I'm probably missing something.

DP FOR THE 13TH, RECIEVED ON THE 14TH = £21.62 (£17.90+£2.51+£1.21)-£1.00(PHONE)=-£20.62 - 41%(£8.45)=-£12.17
BALANCE AT THIS POINT IS £141.83+£12.17=£154.00

DP FOR 14TH PAID ON 15TH = £66.76+£384.40=£451.16 - £6 =£445.16 - 41%(182.52)=£262.64

BALANCE ON ACCOUNT AT THIS POINT IS £416.64

7 credit tip - 7 / 100 x 64 = £4.48
Add all totals =
£286.79
Minus 6 credits expenses - 6 / 100 x 64 = £3.84
£286.79 - £3.84 = £282.95
