Sometimes your email provider will "break" links inside emails as they believe it to be spam.

Example:

Genuine link unbroken: click here

Broken link: click here

You will notice even though you can click on both links, only the top one works, this is due to the "dot" being taken out of the second one, eg www.googlecom whereas the real link should be www.google.com

To get the links to work, you can right click, select "copy link location" then paste it into your browser address bar, once done, add the missing "dot" and click go.

Hotmail.com, Live.com tend to be the ones who break urls like this the most.
