VAT??

Does anyone know what the deal is with the VAT Adultwork will be charging from tomorrow? How much will it be and how will it be deducted from earnings? I've worked out my own tax payments up until now so a little confused. Thanks guys! XPerditaX

Hi, run down so far as we under stand is:

AW will be charging clients an extra 20%, this will be added to all your prices automatically.
AW will be charging an extra 20% on their 30% admin fee.

DP will be reducing its rate to compensate a little.

Hey guys this is prob a stupid question but is this VAT anything to do with our taxes ? How does it effect our tax etc ... Do we still need to produce our numbers to the tax man ?

I've just had it explained in some what lame term regarding % .... Aw will be taking 36% instead of 30% ..... Guy buy credits and are charged VAT so they used to get 5 credits for £5 now it's £6 for 5 credits .... Hope this helps a little

From daily pay we will still be at 41% yes

I've just had a chat with admin and we are still at 41% they are offering this is the reply

41% for webcam, content, movies, pics etc, 46% for direct cam

Thats made up of jci 5%, dp5%, AW 30% then VAT of 20% on AWs 30% which is 6%

I have changed my rates to keep them to what they were before. So will be losing around 25p a min on grp and pvt compared to before. Annoying but not that bad if it stays busy on there like it has been the last few days. Don't want to put the rates up and then lose out on clients.

Hi, old rate of 36% becomes 41% and old rate of 41% (directcam) becomes 46%.

Woah so hold on I'm now paying 46% ? Is webcam classed as bookings ? And direct cam is just being online like on the page. ?

Hey admin ... Just a quick question but it seems aw are taking their jci fee from our earnings on the page you provide the turn over page .... I worked 11mins at £2 a min and on the turn over page it says 19.20 ... When I look on the credits page it seems aw have taken the jci fee already so u will again take 5% for jci fee ? Of this is right then we are being charged 2ce for jci fee

It's ok I've worked it out haha .... I've changed my price in my webcam settings so it appears on my page as £2 buuuuttt aw take 40p of that for vat ! Haha !! Girls you need to allow for their vat to be taken I've worked 6 hours and been charging less than I usually would and been getting eaten up by the fact I'm having to work twice as hard !
